Hamilton 15:15 Weatherbys Bank Handicap £5000 added, 3yo only, 1m 65y, Class 5, £3238 penalty, 8 ran Going: Good, Good to Firm in places
Deep Winter - Winner 4/6
It took a stewards enquiry to get Deep Winter the race , even though we backed him I feel a little put off that it got the race to be honest , I personally do not think that there was much a horse in front can do to stop going in the way of a horse coming from behind , for me it was the jockey fault it lost as in the race I was saying myself he has given it too much to do.
Deep Winter broke well but then was held well back in the pack letting the front pair get well in front then jockey P Hanagan , who has been riding winners for trainer R A Fahey recently , pushed the horse from around 3 furlongs out and it looked like the horse was never going to do it.
Switching in the last furlong to the left and was just beaten by a short head later for the result to be amended by a stwards enquiry.
Nusoor - lost 6/1
Another each way price but we only make on results on win bets.
Nusoor was close up going well all the way to the furlong pole with Kirsty Milczarek on board we thought we was in for another winner.
Nusoor trained by P Grayson had nothing left in the final furlong and ended up losing by around 4 lengths

The D Carroll trained bay gelding was looking for 4 in a row with this race , with the extra weight rises and ups in class from previous races jockey D Allen was in the saddle for an unlucky 2nd.

This was a case of huge field and huge disappointment as the very well fancield and well in Bankable finished 5th under the ride of Dettori and beaten by around 4 3/4 lengths.
Now this does not mean that it was a bad run from this L M Cumani trained horse but a case of a poor draw where at Ascot this year low numbers seemed to be very much favoured.
